Name: Prof. Shuping Yi

Prof. Shuping Yi is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering, Chongqing University. He previously served as Associate Dean of the College of Mechanical Engineering, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and President of Chongqing University Press. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Steering Committee of Industrial Engineering Majors in Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education, Executive Director of the Chinese Ergonomics Society, Chairman of its Intelligent Interaction and Experience Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Industrial Engineering Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society.
His research interests primarily focus on industrial engineering, human factors engineering, and intelligent manufacturing. He has served as Principal Investigator for six national-level research projects, including projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Key Research and Development Program of China, as well as over ten provincial/ministerial-level projects and more than forty industry-commissioned projects. He has published over 100 academic papers and received three provincial/ministerial-level awards for scientific and teaching achievements.
Prof. Shuping Yi is the lead editor of the nationally planned textbooks for undergraduate education under the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" and "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", Foundation of Industrial Engineering, as well as the textbook Work Study and Human Factors Engineering recommended by the National Steering Committee for Master of Engineering Degrees.
